Ow2 - Shooting terrain/walls up close makes frames drop

Hello,

I’ve come across an issue while playing the overwatch 2 beta.

My graphics quality is set to max, which my computer is able to handle at stable framerate, but each time I start shooting a wall, the sheer amount of particles being rendered sends my framerate into the abyss, which sometimes becomes a pretty big issue.

I’ve provided a link showing the problem in-game.

One way to resolve this would be the ability to change the amount of particles being rendered when shooting a wall in the settings.

Yeah I just ran into this issue as well… Totally sucks. It is an optimization issue, as in MSI afterburner I see when I shoot the wall (tried with Sombra or Sojourn) the core clock of the gpu (rtx 3070ti) drops from 2070mhz to 1830 mhz… And power usage ramps up extremely as well.
Tried at lower resolution and at some point it stops affecting framerate (for me at 1080p) but the power draw and core clock drops still occur. Hopefully this will be fixed, seems like a relatively easy fix to pull off.
