I have been playing ow1 since season 1 and enjoyed it, the game feelt finalized had enjoyable graphic and a nice gameplay feeling. I enjoyed it so much that I hit my peak of 4.5k sr in s6 and enjoyed it still while slowly reducing my playing time over the years. Since I heard about ow2 i was really excited thinking of a comeback.
Since it came out its an absolute nightmare. Why did they change the graphic to such a dark wannabe cartoony look, did you check the new rank icons out? It looks like they were dipped in acid and pulled back up. Voice line errors all over the place, with new voice lines being way louder and differently recorded than the older ones. Overall the gameplay is less exicting and in total just boring 5 vs 5 was imo a good idea but didnt impact the game positively as expected. It feels overall completly unfinalized the hud the gameplay everything. Besides all the server crash and kicks and queues the monetization is the biggest bullsh*t. In Ow1 every skin was obtainable with normal coins, now in ow2 the legendary skins cost real money (through the new coins) The battle pass is an absolute joke trying to squeeze as much money out as possible, knowing that blizzard will fail anyway and has another dead game in a couple of months but they are happy as long as they can get a couple of millions out of the game.
About comp, okay a lot of people are playing right now and yes a lot of people who left ow1 in the early stage are playing again which means there are tons of “noobs” playing right now. But the gameplay left and right chaotic, the team with the ult wins the teamfight (was always like that in ow1 too) no coordination, no useful communication. The new heroes arent well balanced yet and need an update especially sojourn alt fire feels like a widow+soldier combo one shooting every non tank easily.
Thank you blizzard for yet another disappointment, yet another try to squeeze as much money out as possible, killing your only good game in the recent 10 years (which was ow1) for this unfinalized and cheaply made “new game”

What you taking about here?Show some respect to the company,that u spend some money in the past,and now u get for free game from the same company!Beside all this,Overwatch 2 is just another level. New balance,new champions and new amazing maps.Be greatful abit instead of being a selfish.

Ow2 is amazing, feels like ow1 in the old days, you know when everyone was playing the game and having fun.

I agree with you on this,there is 20-30 milions players,imagine what would happend if all of them type anythying good/bad,it would be 20-30 milions posts,no sense,I undrstand people can be frustrated as I was before,like 5-6 months ago when I realese the game is free instead of to be purchable like Overwatch 1. (Not joke.)
