Patch broke my game

It’s the fist time in all these years, this happened to me.

Startup is a lot slower, joining games even more, once inside a game, custom for example, i only see red and blue light balls instead of hero models.
It takes a long time for them to load, plus sound is also missing and everything just feels sluggish and extremely slow.
I’ve checked out the US forum and i instantly saw people with the EXACT same problem.

I hope this is a known issue because 3 days ago, the last time i played, the game was running fine.

please inform the devs.

I have the same problem, i’ve been searching both EU and NA forums and only thing i could find was that it might be the newest nvidia drivers update. However, i tried uninstalling the latest drivers and installed a previous one and still didn’t work. Black screen at the game startup, takes ages to load into the game and once you do, you can’t even load into a match and get kicked for inactivity. And all that started happening after the newest patch. Expecting a hotfix really soon.

It’s not Nvidia, I’ve tried 3 drivers, including the latest and all were clean installs without any bloatware.
Nothing, it literally happened after I installed the latest patch today.

Imagine paying money for the new skins just to get a big middle finger in return…

Same here, just cancelled me out of 3 ranked matched because it’s stuck on the loading screen. NEVER happened before, updated driver, uninstalled overwatch and re-installed, scoured the internet for help and I’m left clueless, upset that I’m not getting diamond after those placements and can’t even play quickplay. It’s all round an awful situation.

Imagine getting proper help from the support here…so frustrated with blizzard lately, it’s simply unacceptable.

Same case high loading time when loading I get 200 ping somehow it takes ages to load map and hero models

Don’t care about the money, it’s about not being able to play.

because i wanted to play the game? and yes once you buy something, you want to use it, that was my point with the middlefinger, jeez, get a grip.

i’ve played this game since beta, i’m not stupid and my game is not crashing or anything.
god, just forget it… i’ll just play some monopoly and let my anger out there instead. laters.

I love how the answer to the issue is always something like “Its your system’s fault and follow these steps that constantly include updating video card drivers and closing background programs.” when in reality, its just a poorly optimized game.

yeah, i can remember when it first came out, how freakin smooth everything was, and i had a super stupid lowspecced computer, now, even with the best stuff inside, it performs like utter garbage.
i’m trying to fix things or finding workarounds more than i actually play the stupid game, it’s frustrating.

just fyi . people need to be truthful instead of changing goal post .it goes all the way in real life .FYI.
