PC resets while playing Overwatch

Hi guys!

I have the weirdest problem, which is already going on for more than 30 days, and I brought my pc already 3 times in the shop. My pc just crashes while playing Overwatch, no BSOD, nothing. Just falls out, and then boots again. ONLY while playing Overwatch.

I tested a few other games, CSGO, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Far Cry 5, and here I dont have this problem (on the highest settings).

I find a little solution, if I bring my settings in Overwatch to medium, it won’t happen. Everything higher than medium, it reboots. I have read alot around these issue ( if you google, pc resets during overwatch ), some say its a driver for the motherboard, other people just bought a new PSU and it works.

But isn’t it strange that I have to buy a new PSU to get Overwatch back in Ultra/Epic settings?

Anyone else can help me?

Hi.
From the description it actually looks as if it is the fault of the power supply. And in fact it is strange, but I have already met with such a case, that in one game the computer restarted and in other games it did not.

Hi K3nsh1n,

When you increase the graphics settings, it means your graphics card will need to work a bit harder as well and as such increase power consumption. It certainly is worth to try with a different power supply, to see if that improves things.
