i was playing a round of competitive when this random person on my team wrote to the match chat “report avalon” then somebody on the oposing team wrote “3 of us did” so now im dealing with 4 reports, i did apsolutly nothing wrong that round and i even got the highest or second highest kills and damage, i wasnt toxic, i didnt refuse to switch, i did nothing wrong. some other person on my team tried to defend me. i then aksed what did i do wrong and i got no respons. so now i came on here to ask what i should do, about the false reports.
the short version: 4 people reported me for no reason in one game.

Nothing. You need a lot of reports within a short time for it to affect you.
There are always players reporting others for dubious reasons, and Blizz knows that.
That answer is just as vague as it is bullsh*t, It is unknown how many reports exactly are required to trigger a penalty but its around 30 to 50 in at least a weeks time, wich really isn’t that much.
you can easily farm enough salt to get banned in a couple of days just by playing non meta heroes, we’ve seen the videos, photos and reddit threads to prove that.

30 in a week is a lot IMO.
Dude, people will report you for any reason they can come up with.
I have also been suspended several times for playing Torbjorn.
Reason: “Abusive Chat”. Never even used VC or written chat.
So after the 3rd suspension i did become toxic. I am toxic AF.
I’ll give you good reason to report me now, i will curse, swear and ventilate any reasonable or unreasonable anger towards some weak minded reporter.
And i will report him too, just for the fun of it.
If i get suspended again, i’m not coming back.
But i have made sure i deserve this last suspension

at the very least a week, after that they slowly start to decay.
I believe you, there was a dev post about this last year. Off-meta heroes like Sym torb or bastion are the most common to get reported as they are never really in any meta.
That’s strange, whenever someone in comp says “report x” everyone usually responds with “what for?”. The fact that a team mate reported you AND on top of that 3 of the opposing team players did so too without even asking why is such a freak occurrence that it might never happen to you again.
In other words, I wouldn’t worry about it. Block the player that said report you, carry on. Ignore the bad apples.
