I’ve been playing Overwatch on PC since January and the game had been running incredibly smooth until about 2 months ago. Before that if I wanted to I could run the game on High/Ultra and still hit 50-60 FPS (I never did but the option was there), now I can’t even run the game with everything set to the lowest. Things seem fine when I’m on the menu, FPS counter hits 150-200 frames no problem but once I get into game or open a loot box or something the frames just drop drastically and fluctuate wildly. I could by sitting fine at like 60 FPS but then out of no where the frames just drop to less than 10. Sometimes the game outright crashes and completely freezes my laptop. I know the issue is not with my laptop since the only game affected is Overwatch. I’ve tried everything on the support page for Troubleshooting Overwatch Preformance already and still no improvements, if anything it seems to have gotten worse. I don’t know how many times I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
