Hello,
i have been having problems with my pc recently and thought maybe one of you could help me
I’ve been getting random fps drops where the sound also distorts and sometimes doesnt even play. and ive noticed while doing this, the cpu usage drops and locks at ~35%
if anyone knows why this is caused or how i could fix it, a solution would be greatly appreciated. if more details are needed then just ask and ill try get them

Let’s start with some basic troubleshoting to see if the situation improves.

Make sure both your operative system and drivers are up to date:
battle.net/support/article/31024

Make sure you deactivate Xbox DVR:
battle.net/support/article/92046

Delete the Battle.net Cache folder:
battle.net/support/article/34721

Repair the game:
battle.net/support/article/7655

Close background applications to make sure there’s no other program interfering with the game:
battle.net/support/article/23848

If the issue persists, please create your DxDiag and MSInfo files:
battle.net/support/article/12988

I have tried the steps, none of which have worked unfortunately. this seems to be a system - wide problem and not just overwatch, just any games :confused: but attached is the MSinfo file

Hello Jelz,

The drivers that the MSInfo is showing seem to be pretty old. There are new drivers for your video card and OS that you can download here.

I can still see Game DVR active in your MSInfo. Make sure you deactivate it:
battle.net/support/article/92046

If the issue persists, try uninstalling Corsair Utility Engine, since it can sometimes cause this kind of issue.

I did disable game DVR, i selected my build of windows and followed the steps, here it shows that it is toggled off
