Had a guy in my team take a business call when we were seconds away from losing point B on defense, which made him play one handed running around in the spawn room. This made us lose the point which we actually had a chance to defend had he been able to play. I called this out as throwing in which he said that he ‘‘just had to take it’’ and that ‘‘real life’’ was more important to him than a game…
I understand that life happens, but is it wrong to expect people to put the call on speaker phone atleast? And is it wrong to expect people to actually have time and be 100% available to play competetive(excluding sudden emergencies)? I just don’t understand why people queue for games if there’s significant possibility that it could be interrupted by something irl. Am I a douchebag for this opinion or what? Would not have cared if this wasn’t a competetive game though.
