Players from a lower rank joining comp matches with higher ranks

Anyone else having this issue?
I’ve had numerous times where I would be put into matches with players 1-2 ranks lower than myself.
I understand that people can duo with someone up to 1000SR or whatever depending on your rank but it never used to be a common thing.
I play in the EU, do you think this could be that there isn’t enough people online to compensate for the lack of players in that rank?

Depends on what rank you are in. Master, GM… could be a volume of player issue.

Below, unlikely to be happening. Too many players.

Silver, Gold and Plat in one game, constantly… Very few games I get that all the players are in the same rank.

I play in NA.

That is all fine, probably because of groups and stuff. The average MMR/SR of the 2 teams would be about the same.

No it’s not all fine, there’s a huge difference in player knowledge between a Silver and a Plat tank. Imagine you getting stuck with silver tanks half the time…

I agree they should probably configure it so that it is balanced by roles. But that would be ridiculously complicated so I get why they don’t.

Just have to get on with it and out play them and beat them with coordination.

Yeah but you said it’s very unlikely to happen below Master/GM and it happens every game. Legit 98% of the games are mixed ranks, unranked. I remember only one game this season that has had all players ranked and in the same rank.

If you are stacking, it is more likely to happen.

I play in stacks with gold, plat and diamond players. Sometimes with silver, gold, plat. Doesn’t change anything about the match.

I think you like to come up with a lot of IF scenarios. I solo Q and I’m telling you it happens all the time.

Because most won’t ask, they will simply agree and continue the echo chamber.

I want you to prove what you are complaining about, and give reasonable ways in which you would like to see it improved. Then people can agree, disagree or complete disassemble your complaint.
