There is literally NO FUN in playing against a widowmaker who can headshot 9 out of 10 shots.
You see her, you are dead.
Then you have to wait 10 sec to respawn, repeat.
no fun gameplay AT ALL.
She is doesn’t interact with her team, she just stands, points and clicks. Literally the least team character on the team. And brings nothing gameplay wise that makes a match more fun. No good fun interaction.

In all fairness I’ve found the best Widow counters are probably Pharah or Mercy, you can just popup unexpected and most of them seem unable to handle sometime right in their face attacking them, Kiriko is quite good for the same reasons and can usually get up high to wherever the Widow is trying to camp, just wait until they scoped in and they wont see you aiming at the back of their head.
Widows advantage is at range so you have to take that advantage away if your going to fight them, plenty of other characters can also close the gap and do that.
Instead of reworking the hero you could just stop peaking her and play out of her los? Or pick a hero that is able to flank and kill her? Widow really is not a big issue currently. Also, even if she is not running with her team, she is restricting the enemy teams movement and therefore is a nice addition for your team if played in the right situations and has free reign.
Her lethality compensates that she cannot contest and the most vulnerable against tanks. If you’re dying against her that’s completely how it’s intended to be.
