Hanzo and brigitte is the main deciders how the game will go. If the enemy team has them, they win. If you both have them it’s about who is the best of them not about the best team.

You could live on with such a half-minded viewpoint…
Or you could try to find strategies to counter them and win anyway.

Just try your best, even if it seems hopeless.

Oh and as a motivational suggestion: never play just to win! Play to have fun!
Don’t judge your enjoyment by the outcome of the match. Just appreciate the little fun things that happened during the game.

Which is the reason many people got “toxic”.

If their focus on the game only is the success, any other event that leads to the opposite conclusion (defeat) will frustrate you. It causes you to get upset, angry and desperate to win. It leads to foul teamplay where you yell at and harass your friends, ruining the fun for others.

I always laugh at salty people on competitive because I think it’s hilarious to get that upset at “just a game”. I play quick play and competitive matches just for fun.

And don’t think that I don’t care to win and always perform half-assed. My mindset is just different:

I always want to win but I don’t mind defeat, as long as I gave my best.

Due to that mindset, I always engage a game optimistic and won’t get angry or “tilted” at a simple game for fun.

Brigitte is the deciding factor for a team to win? LoL No, not at all.

As of today: 12 June 2018 (this week)
Brigitte’s pick rate has dropped to #9 spot in the GM comp ladder at 3.24% when Genji and Tracer overtook her with 3.90% and 3.78% pick rates respectively.

In Masters:
She dropped to #7 spot from the 6th spot, being overtaken by Widow. It’s a repeat of what happened in GM tier. Brig has a pick rate of 4.43%

In Diamond:
Brig’s still at #6 but her pick rate percentage is getting close to Genji who is at #7.
Brig has a PR of 4.99% while Genji, Moira has a PR of 4.97%

In Platinum:
Brig dropped to #8, from #6 last week.

It’s evident now after the initial warming period a number of elos are getting warmed up to Brig and her PR has been dropping steadily, which shows she isn’t a problem like the forums made it out to be :slight_smile:

Had she been strong like you guys put it more elos would be picking her in every other game getting her PR to be in the top 6 picked heroes.

Personally i find Doomfist and Widow the fun sponges. They are simply massive cowards that are no fun to play against

Counter how? Hanzo just activates his E and kills you instantly. Brigitte just stunlocks you to death.

Then get out of comp. Stay in QP.

I play competitive games for fun because I play seriously for fun.

Being serious can be fun, after all.

Actually, it’s a shame that you have such a mindset. You just shoo many nice players away, leaving you to play with incompetent and toxic people.

Well, at least that’s my opinion.
