Portrait borders progress

Hi there,

So Im not sure how players are rewarded to get a new portrait border. Right now I have bronze portrait with 5 stars, level 21. According to overwatch wiki this means I have level 521. And finally I could unlock silver portrait soon at lvl 600

But does the progress reset after the season is over? Because its like 5 days left so… :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m not sure how you actually get points for portrait too. At first I thought that after a win you get some points. But I just played 3 games, all win and didnt get a new level…

When I look at current season I have 141 games won, 49 hours played (not sure if thats only ladder or al games).

So how the hell people are able to get gold portraits, when even getting a silver is not easy?

Lvl does never reset. And you gain experience in any way of playing.

So just keep playing and you’ll lose all stars but you get the silver border.

At lvl 1201 its golden and after 1801 its platinum.

Does not reset? Thats great :slight_smile: I thought now I have to play every day 24h to get a new portrait :smiley:

This kind of relates but what level is a blue border?

Sounds like Diamond level.

Diamond border i believe is at level 2401 :slight_smile:

Bronze = 1-600
Silver = 601-1200
Gold = 1201-1800
Platinum = 1801-2400
Diamond = 2401+
