Sooo for the 10 time in a row. I have expirienced that poeple play roles they shouldne cause of the ticket system. Which isnt fair to those of us who actually wanna play the game. I have ofcourses reported those who did it. In my case its not fun when ihave use so much time to climb into plat and and after that getting throwed back into almost silver cause poeple only play for the new ticket system. It kinda destroys the game. Especily when the person throws the game. Cause they dont care now.
The lastest game i had A reinhart told us he didnt wanna tank. But he wanted a ticket for his dps role. So he didnt care if he was throwing. He just wanted the ticket. I respect other player. Btu if a mercy have to take down the sniper to make room for the others to come in. THen we have a problemâŚ
And i had almost 20.000 Healing done that match. And killed 1 widow. And i ended up with play of the game. Which was kinda funny
They shouldnât? You want the game ring fenced because someoneâs play less time on other roles??
How would they get better if they donât play those roles?
Once they play enough their MMR for each role will level out.
Yes, there are some bad examples like you mention. But one game isnât going to ruin your season.
Basically, people wonât get better at a role unless they play it more.
U are completely right 1 game wont destroy my season but when we are hitting 10 games Where its reapetly the same. Poeple only playing tank or support to get the tickets then there is a issue.
I am a really relax person when u wanna learn the game. We have all been there where we are trying to learn tips and tricks. Im trying to learn how to play ana. But i am not taking it into comp yet. Cause i need my ana skills to be strong enough to at least be able to give my team it all.
But again. If u do it cause u only want those tickets then there is a problem with the system.
I will press the Flex Que just for tickets. But I am comfortable (as in I wonât throw by being so bad lol) on all roles and most heroes.
People just need time. I already have 2 friends that flex queued for passes but really enjoyed playing off roles and are playing them more.
So, it will work over time. But it is still just a baby, it needs time to grow and mature as a system.
Tweaks will be made and it may improve.
Now imagine one team has 4 ppl from flex q and the other one has ppl only at their main roles.
Who is going to win 99.9% of the time?
Does it matter?
You saying people canât play roles they donât play as much?
As long as they are trying, what is the issue?
(100% agree if someone is actively throwing they need banning, but that can be anyone anywhere).
Iâm saying there is difference in playing tank/support of your own volition and beeing forced to play it to get few fast dps matches.
The approach to the match is totaly different.
You learn almost nothing if your motivation is âjust get through it to get priority passâ. You donât think about what you did, you donât think about what you could have done better. WHY??
Cause it doesnât matter to them. Itâs forced experience through which people want to go as fast as possible and forget it, that is why flex q didnât fix anything, it just showed in higher contrast whatâs happening at the beggining of each season when ppl just want to play placements and be done.
Now you have to get through same bull**** each and every day that you want to play.
No one is forced to do it. You can just not press the button.
So what you are saying is you donât like the passes because new people to those roles are not good enough⌠Could that not be construde as some form of elitist mentality.
You want the game ring fenced?
People who are actively throwing to get passes are being banned quickly. But playing badly, or not being up to the skill level is not throwing.
I didnât say that.
- how do you get fast dps q without beeing forced in to flex q? You donât get priority pass for simply choosing to play as a tank/support.
- Iâm saying that if theyâre willing to play tank/support of their own volition, maybe then they would want to get better at those roles.
Now theyâre there only for passes and it doesnât do any good to the game or ppl that are forced to play with them.
I didnât say I donât want them there cause they play badly.
I donât want them there if their goal in the match is to get priority ticket and get out. - I didnât say that.
How do you categorize:
- Rein player that only charges at the enemy, is it a just âbadâ gold rein, or is this throwing?
- support player that doesnât see a thing apart from enemy and doesnât give a **** about actually supporting? So is it a bad player or thrower?
in bronze both or those things could be bad players, but in gold? Nah donât think so. To be honest from what I saw yday from bronze mercy I should say that everywhere something like that IS throwing.
It is your choice to flex que. You can just have the longer queue. (Although experience would suggest passes make very little difference to queue times).
For your hypothetical support player. Neither. People donât have to care. Its a video game. If someone is crying at them, why would they care.
Ohh, how you are going to hate me.
I flex comb games, 90% of the time i get tank.
hard time feed just by selecting tank. It wont matter but, it DOES give me six tickets i can use for my dps que so i can HARD THROW just by selecting symmetra and refusing to change.
mwhahahaha
Do you deliberately throw?
Or, as youâve said before âthrowâ through incompetence?
I have stated, i have shaky hands.
I throw the very moment i log into overwatch due to this.
My standard accuracy as ASHE, is somewhere around 5%
If my hand shakes at the wrong time im playing Rein, i have suddenly turned around and im trying to maul down empty air most of the time.
Or im holding my shield up, and suddenly im turned around. You SHOULD get the idea.
I throw, by merely pressing âflexâ for the tickets.
This was why i bought this game for sym 2.0.
She never had this trouble. The beam stayed connected long enough for me to re-establish visual lock on my target. I could actually do my JOB.
So you are not hard throwing then.
You are not deliberately throwing.
Arguably this is soft throwing. Like someone misusing ults and losing the fight for it.
Il call it hard throwing. Cause i know, my hands will shake. I do not know when or how severe. If i actually hit something as widowmaker my eyes usually widen in shock thinking âThats gotta be a mistakeâ
I do know this causes more losses for me and my team. But i honestly dont care. Blizz ruined sym 2.0 for me, so now my only joy is ruining this game for others.
I deliberately go into comp, knowing this with more often then not, zero intentions of winning. I am just, wasting time. (especially when i click flex)
See it is just soft throwing. Not much you can do about it.
But your general in game attitude appears to be pretty poor.
No ones going to stop you so that is all I will say.
Thats a result of being in voice for a couple of years and hear what ppl say, unfiltered. Well, partially.
Thats why i now have voice as; Auto join. But the actual VOLUME that reaches my headphones are set to zero.
