Hi there, its my first time posting here but the situation demands it, I was Diamond 4 before the end of season 1, today with season 2 I was deranked to gold 2, ok, I thought it was only to recalculate, after the 7 matches to recalibrate (I played 8, only lost 1 match of 8) I was put in Platinum 4, its this for real? I mean my performance was good, but this rank its not my real rank, from diamond 4 to plat 4?? not even plat 1, plat 4, I mean, are you kidding me?

Hope itās a bug and not blizzard turning into time thieves. In the crazy hood where I grew up man, if you steal someoneās st you get shot in the face. Crazy I know. But then what do you expect if you are just a m.f. thief anyway. You just dont touch st that someone earned, simple. And I seen st, like ābut hey itās only this, itās only that, come onā yeah - maybe itās only this and only that but you know what - doesnt matter what it is YOU DONT STEAL, MF HAS TO LEARN IT! But whatever Iām sure blizz devs arent thieves and itās just a bug and they gonna fix it real soon.

Not a bug. They want you to earn ranks. Also resets boosted players so they can camp ranks.
Most probably bugged and definitely broken. Thatās a damn big drop down. 
Did your hours get stolen too as well as your rank? because i got deranked from diamond 4 to gold 1 and my career profile says I only played 45 mins but I played at least 180 games.

Blizzard has a history of long-winded bugs being considered mechanics, or just last seasons bronze bug. Heās not off-base.

Because while technically peopleās ranks are adjusted right now, they were talking about the opposite thing: making sure people donāt get rated too low. Like when they got stuck in Bronze 5.
