Greetings,
I have came back to Overwatch after two and a half years of inactivity and I am struggling with getting into voice-chat.
When I press “P” button it opens the chat screen with headphones. Even when I click headphones, nothing happens, only I can see on the right side of my screen is me (alone) with a muted microphone.
Any fix issues or any info on what can I do?

Hey. Are you sure that you checked settings of voice chat in game? It could be muted all the time as option. Or maybe some problems outside. I mean the special button on your headphones or some settings in windows or Mac if you use it. Like microphone do not using cuz it’s off.
This is a common bug. Not sure why they haven’t fixed it yet. Usually you randomly join voice just as your about to lose and your team is flaming you for not being in lol.

I did check everything in options. I know exactly how it must look when you join a voice chat and you also get a msg in the chat window that you’ve joined “group voice chat” or “team voice chat”, but I am getting none of these…
It’s so frustrating, I am still hoping someone will give me the good fix solution.

Sound plays while in background - ON
Group Voice Chat - ON
Team voice chat - Auto Join
Match voice chat - ON
Voice chat mode - Push to talk
Voice chat devices - Defaul Devices
Dolby Atmos - OFF
ofc volumes all 100…except music i’ve done to 50. To hear enemys better 
Also i recomend to go in Controls settings and find Chat and Voice. In the end you can find Toggle Mic Mute. There can be some buttons. I don’t have it. I Push to Talk button on my mouse)
That’s it. If that all the same or almost the same in the game and you still have this problem… so it sure is in windows or something else that i don’t know.
Oh, i forgot. Check Skype or some programms which can use ur microphone for some reason.
