Is anyone else experiencing unfair bans/suspensions in quickplay that escalate to the point of an increasing 10min, 15min, 26min bans?

Isn’t the whole reason for quick play is exactly that. Its quick play for fun, you know what to expect, if anyone drops out its backfilled. If you want to play for real you play comp. If you want to have a QUICK PLAY, you jump on a quick play. Simple.

I rarely leave QP games, and when I do its usually for lag, lost connection or toxic team. But if I leave for any of these legit reasons, I get the ban?

Honestly this is killing the game for me, and I don’t think I’m alone in this.

There’s hundreds of arcade modes you can play if you plan to not stay for a whole match. QP is for unranked matches and should be considered semi-serious. It’s not intended for drop-in drop-out type of gameplay.

The suspensions are there so people would not leave, sadly it hasn’t helped much.

One game i had last week we played the entire match 4 v 5. Because the backfills left the moment they joined.

I’m sure you see why a situation like this would prompt a suspension system to be put in.

I’ve played games 3v5 too in past seasons.

Just because the backfills keep leaving…

How about in a case were the person disconnect because of bad internet or server issues. This is what happened to me today. I got a 30 min penalty because I disconnected. Do you think that is fair. Moreover, QP is ment for dorp-in drop-out play. If you want a serious game play comp.

No, it’s literally not. That is what the Arcade modes are for. There’s QP under the arcades tab too, where you can drop-in drop-out with no penalties. The main menu QP is for unranked matches.

You should be able to leave 4 out of your past 20 games without issue. Only after the fourth game will you start getting suspended.

But if u wanna play a serious match there’s comp for that!

nah man , quickplay is just like ranked but just without some score wich makes people extra salty. There are others on these forums who think its fair to waste peoples time in quickplay by leaving or afking just because “its just quickplay” . You playing ranked does not mean you are allowed to waste people time in quickplay by ruining matches.

oh well, qp queue times will just go up then because less people will be willing to play it. i won’t be queueing for it anymore, because whats the point

Exactly this. Punishments shouldn’t even happen in QP. They really need to look into that. Getting punished for leaving QP is pretty ridiculous imo.

That’s exactly what would happen. Backfills happen in QP because, you know, it’s QP. I’d rather join a game straight away then wait around for ages for a fresh new game.
