Raise Competitive's Level Requirement

Here is an example:
When getting into any match (lets just say around 2k-2.5k MMR) it is nice to experience how a lvl40 player plays against/with a lvl2000 player.
One could argue that they play together because they are around the same MMR given by the system …but… are you really trying to tell me that thousands of hours of playing is on the same level as a beginner who just started to play?
A lvl40 doesn’t even know what heroes, skills, compositions and maps there are, what counters what, etc.
Please Blizzard, either make matchmaking better by counting in the players’ levels or make the competitive level requirement higher.

ps.: oh yeah, there are smurfs too…there should be a whole server dedicated just for them or solve the problem some other way

you’re basically argueing, that there are players at your rank who don’t belong to that rank, due to their lvl? Pretty bold statement which won’t stand, IMO.

It should be at least 50-75 imo

if overwatch ever become free to play then smurfing may possibly become a actual issue and not just a overblow perception problem which it seams to be at the moment.
then a higher level limit to enter competitive may be an absolute must in that case.

Personally i would raise it from level 25 to 200 as i think you should have your second star before even thinking of going into competitive.

It would also be nice if there was a requirement you had at least 5 hours on one support one tank and one dps in addition to that so everyone could flex in a pinch.

maybe even an obligatory warmup in QP before comp unlock for the day… like 2 qp matches or something so your not just jumping into overwatch and right into competitive before your in the zone… not sure if that one is reasonable to require… but if nothing else it’s a good priciple to live by lol…

Competitive is serious business :stuck_out_tongue:
