the new not show rank icon in game.
as an overwatch veteran, im really sad and mad its removed from the game.
the whole fun in overwatch was to see ur rank near the heros picture.
it makes ur feel we are doing some kind of progress, but not its just feels empty and boring.
feel blizzard, bring this back, listen to the community! we love this old way 
Bring back On-fire. Bring back player level portraits, bring back ranks showing on portraits in competitive.

I have to agree. I think having your ranked title show is a good idea. And “I’m on fire” was a fun feature.
You can see your team’s rank on your career profile anyway. If it’s to remove toxicity, I get it, but those players will check career profiles anyway.
I’m sure Blizzard is open to changing things as we move ahead. So hopefully we get ranked icons showing again.
