I have been stuck in bronze support for over a year. The last 7 games I played IN A ROW, I have had a teammate leave. I am constantly stuck with people who seem to be playing their first ever game of OW. I often finish games with more damage and healing than everyone else in the game combined. I just completely lost my sh*t as I went in to a game with ALL 4 TEAMMATES AFK. This game infuriates me. I should EASILY be playing gold 1 support MINIMUM. I get loss after loss for no reason other than TRASH TEAMMATES. Anyone have any advice? Do I just need to make a new account?

At this point i would at least test a new account and see if you get out of bronze. Many people seem to have issues with climbing on old accounts, so if nothing else you should see if you climb or not with a fresh account.
You just have to win 50 qp matches before you’re allowed in comp. And have to unlock the heroes by playing if you want to play them.

Can you see the division % increase up or down?
I agree though, matchmaking is broken, the SR system is broken.
Hopefully they’ll realise the problem and fix it.
Hopefully they’ll go back to the original formula of Overwatch 1 and what it was all about rather than this failed and a lie of a project. For now, we’re just experiencing profiteering.

Buying and selling accounts is against blizzard tos. I wouldn’t risk it.

The disgusting thing is they allowed all the smurf & 2nd accounts back in

There has to be a better way than smurfing…
I have this same issue. I think the best solution is to group with people who seem to know what they are doing. Or if not group right then at least add friend. The best way to climb is to be proactive. But this doesn’t solve the problem with the game.
People keep leaving my matches early on and we barely started, yet the game doesn’t end, we just lose because of it. Why does this even happen!?
