He was masters 2, then LOST 2 games, went up to masters 1.

So we still got an intransparent system that “does stuff behind the scenes” same as the 5-15 system we previously had, instead of plainly telling you your current ranking value, in which case a LOSS would obviously LOWER your score, and a WIN would RAISE it, not the other way round?
Can we just get the OW 1 system back where you gain SR on win and lose SR on loss, totally transparent, instead of this dogwater?
His MMR and previous rank was gm1. It’s pushing him back to that.
Also was this in his placements or after??
I lost 2 placement games in a row and my predicted rank went up both times.
Saw this sort of behaviour even doing the placements style of matchmaking since OW2 was released… and the opposite where you win more games than lost, yet still derank.
Would be interesting to see instant feedback of a derank after a win, then Blizzard will have no leg to stand on.
