RE: Friend Banned For Hacks!

So in my last post I explained how my friend was banned for ‘hacks’

The reply by Blizzard Support was, ineffective to say the least.

They told me that my friend should make an appeal, but it is supposedly a final decision.

My friend sent an appeal earlier today and was given this reply.

“Greetings - Game Master Torafael Here… banned yadayadayada”
Ok so the ‘game master’ goes on to state that he violated the terms of Use and in game policies.

But after a quick read it reveals that he didn’t violate anything.

In fact nothing he has done could warrant any kind of punishment.

Oh not only that the link the ‘game master’ left my buddy didn’t even take him anywhere that’s how stupid the whole Blizzard support is the bloody links provided to you by the actual support rep don’t even work.

He goes on to say that “For the most detailed reasons on your ban, please refer back to the original letter you have received from us.” but when we read the letter its as vague as this ban is. It doesn’t make sense and we’re scratching our heads as to why he was banned.

Banning someone for no reason just to make them buy the game again is ridiculous and frankly criminal. and don’t reply with make an appeal as my appeal didn’t even get responded to and his was denied.

As Hagut explained in the other thread you opened about the issue, this is not something we can handle of the forums.

If support reviewed the penalty and told your friend the account closure it’s validated, there’s nothing else that can be done, I’m afraid. On the other hand, please keep in mind support won’t deal with appeals from any other person, as any case related to accounts will only be handled with the owner of said account.

Please, keep in mind that re-opening threads that were closed by moderation go against the forum’s code of conduct.
