Reaper still gets wrecked by a good Cree or Hanzo lmao.
Rappers in almost all my qps yesterday as well. If they nerf brig boost rapper then I just have to switch over cause “whatever works”. Thank this for all the delbrig idiots who were asking for it. They might even put the patch live Today.
Low elo literally lacks the co-ordination to play goats, let alone dive
so, why didn’t you swap to reaper, for a free win? You can do it too.
Blizzard have always done the same, i remember when they nerfed rogues on warcraft during BC because (Fury) a pro raider was butchering with twinblades of Azzinoth. Problem was, like you say he was in the top 0.01% that had those weapons.
most of the time i dont have problem with Reaper unless he is pocketed either by heal or bubble
most of other dps can shut him down while tanks cant which is normal because he counter tanks, so if you are a tank and see a reaper killing your team, blame the dps
also DVa with well timed DM and game sense will be able to eat his ult, Zen can save everyone from it and instant CC can shut him out of it
Reaper’s ult is the most useles ult in the game and this buff won’t change that

I agree, he is still bad, should have buffed something more relevant.
When playing Ashe I used to be able to kill Reaper before the buff but now hes to powerful. He also has 250hp while Ashe only has 200. Moira cannot kill him at all or escape him, not before the buff and now it’s even worse. A big tank like Orisa that gives very little damage with her gun cannot defeat him as he heals himself to fast now.

I still believe Reaper was ok with 30% leech. They should give him armor penetration! It would make him viable with countering tanks.
Reaper doesn’t 2 tab you from across the point.
Reaper does tell you he’s there at most, you might don’t even notice him if he’s not dmg boosted. Just wave at him, he does nothing from far away.
But ask tracer how she feels after a 50m hs from reaper, now ask her after ashe does the same thing. She won’t even reply.
Now try this with reaper at the place from tracer, shooting back at ashe. Haha must be a dangerous reaper since he has 250hp.
Orisa is not supposed to counter reaper, but she deals with him pretty good as a tank.
Moira should be healing ashe which is killing reaper.
Stop trying to 1v1 as moira, it only works bc the enemy is already dying or he is bad at aiming at you. Or it was a stupid move by the enemies in the first place.
Ashe can kill reaper, ofc not if you miss all shots and let him try 5 times in your face.
Yeah and widow is useless bc you can miss shots = reaper hard counters widow, since you tp up to her, she misses, he kills her.

I don’t complain about genji while playing widow, bc every missed shot, could have been the kill, so as long as I can do 1 good shot at genji, its balanced. Since a good player would nail the shot, or not pick widow in the first place.
The problem goes deeper than that. People who play tanks/supports are simply not used to being countered. Hence why they switched from complaining about McCree to complaining about Reaper immediately. Its the way Blizzard has been balancing the game which enables them to be like this.
Actually the problem is that pretty much all DPS below masters lack the game sense to ever protect their team, and because Reaper does well against all tanks and supports, people would rely on the DPS to deal with him - and they simply can’t.
WHAT WERE THE DEVS THINKING?
Hay maybe just maybe people are stacking tanks/supports a bit to much while ignoring dps. Not to mention that no one wanted to pick Reaper even when it was tank meta for the 10 time.
Lets make a chance that won’t directly nerf tanks and supports since we are over-protective of them. But just to discourage them a little.
Oh wait people are still playing goats and quad tank? Oh well…
