It is not. Do replays show you the chat? Unless, you should report every single one and explain what they said. Abusive chat reports are the ones that Blizzard take the most serious upon so they might actually get banned for life, or at least for 2 weeks.

I send a lot of reports, don’t see much change. The point is that it should never happen in the first place.
Of course it shouldn’t. I don’t know why people get so upset over a game. But since it happens it should be taken seriously.
I’m sure it wouldn’t be as bad if this stupid patch didn’t have me waiting longer in queues than actually playing the game. Then again the main menu is the best part of the game now, so idk maybe it’s a blessing in disguise.
Nah, it’s not about the patch. I’ve recieved alot of threats during my entire playtime and since the new patch people have actually been more friendly than ever.

Make sure you report them. Being abusive is one thing but that’s way OTT.
All chat logs are stored so it can be tracked but you should do it ASAP if you haven’t already.

Oh I get where you’re coming from but I can actually believe this one since that’s just how toxic this game is. Not the games fault at all but I’m over level 200 and.i can’t remember a single comp game where someone wasn’t toxic.

This. Not only that, he’s been saying that toxicity has been rampant in all of his games since the patch, where everybody else has been saying the exact opposite. I immediately thought he was lying too. I definitely agree toxicity exists in the game and needs to be dealt with, but this guy definitely seems to be either lying, or directly causing the toxicity. I mean, if you’ve had any interaction with him on the forums I’m sure you can see how he’d elicit toxic responses, and I willing to bet hard money he acts like that in his games too.
