I’m merely making this post on account of curiosity. How exactly does the matchmaking work? Today, 6/30/18, I attempted to do Placements with my friends for Arcade 3v3; however, we couldn’t on account of skill level being too high, though we were all in the exact same range of 4100-4200. One friend; however, was 4200 in about season 4 and haven’t touched it since. I was able to play with this individual in CTF competitive but for some reason I can’t play with them in Arcade 3v3. Why is this? We’re were all in the exact same range and we couldn’t play. Why change it?
How does the group finder deal with this issue i wonder, honestly think having group requirement for any comp mode is a bad idea, i think feature is great but forcing group is bad, situation you mentioned is why i would not group at all either, cos you never know what players play at your skill level anyway due private profiles.
I was playing with friends that are in mid GM. The group finder is very inconsistent thus I don’t try it. We knew what we all played, and etc. I’m just confused with why I can’t play with other GM/top500 players that haven’t played in a while
