Regularly loosing connection to game server

Hi, as the title suggests I’m getting the “lost connection to game server” rather regularly to the point of becoming supper annoying to play the game. I have tried all the suggested remedies like updating network drivers, resetting Winsock data, flushing DNS renewing IP, tinkering with the Proxy server and the DNS server and still getting “it” every time I play. I really doubt it is dew to the internet service I am using 'cause every time I got disconnected, voice chat or discord are not losing connection. I would really appreciate your help on the matter!!!

Hi ParanoiD,

From your WinMTR there looks to be around 20% packetloss here, which would indeed cause issues:

Keep in mind that different services will be impacted to different degrees due to this and for the voice chat example you mentioned this would show up very differently or not at all. You can read more about this in the Connection Troubleshooting FAQ.

Ultimately though if you’ve already expended the troubleshooting steps available to you, you’ll want to contact your service provider directly for further assistance.
