Rejoin Match button unresponsive - Customer support - unsupportive

This is a ticket I just submitted. I’m not angry at the bug, or frustrated by the short term ban, but I am sad that after 20 years and thousands of pounds being given to Blizzard they cannot give benefit of doubt to a customer with no history of throwing or system abuse etc…
If I get a reply indicating that Blizzard are doing the right thing, I will reply to sing their praises for being reasonable and giving a customer the benefit of any doubt (particularly in this case where there really cant be any doubt).

Description Hello - Your response is not ok. You say ‘we are not able to distinguish if a player left the game by his own decision’. Perhaps I wasn’t clear but the issue is not the disconnection.Its the fact that the ‘rejoin match’ button didn’t work. This is a bug - not my issue. If you are questioning my character then here is my defence. Using commons sense and your own game systems you should be able to give benefit of the doubt. For example, if a player has a rating on community rating of ‘1’ and a history of reports for throwing from other players, then you can judge that they are not sincere. However, my rating was ‘4’ I have been playing Overwatch for nearly 3 years and have had a blizzard account for 20 years without any blemish to my account name and to the best of my knowledge no reports or black marks of any kind. immediately after my second disconnection my rating dropped from ‘4’’ to ‘3’ for the first time ever. I dont know if this is something Blizzard issued because of my disconnect or because players reported me for disconnecting, but I’ve had two disconnections this week (not your fault) and both occasions the ‘Rejoin match’ button didn’t work. This is 100% a Blizzard issue and its not right that you penalise me for a game bug. Please reimburse my competitive points which on my support slot have decreased approx 100 across the two disconnects. Please also raise my rating back up to ‘4’. Again, this issue is not caused by disconnect - disconnections happen to everyone. The issue is your ‘Rejoin match’ button did not work and this is something that I’m sure you can see is not my issue and is something you can reimburse me for. Please do what is right by this long term player (with a 12 year old who is also a Blizzard fan and we just spent 200 pounds to see Overwatch live next year). Thankyou, James

I have been having the same issue. THE PROBLEM IS THE REJOIN MATCH BUTTON IS NOT WORKING, the disconnection from the game is not the problem. This IS a problem, and its been ignored long enough.
Three times in the past two weeks I have been disconnected from my match. I get sent directly to the main menu for the game when it happens. I can see the rejoin match button, hover over the rejoin match button, and click on the rejoin match button. I hear that familiar ting when I click on the button to rejoin the match but nothing happens. The problem always persists even after I exit and reload the game. The past two times I was able to rejoin after a few minutes of sitting there and trying to rejoin but at that point the match is seconds from being over anyways.
FIX IT BLIZZARD.
