Like the title says, first more likely there should be no all chat at all just like HOTS. But anyway atleast make all chat be standard on mute or let the game remember I set it on mute.
Currently all chat is for trolls or fakes who say GG only when they win and let’s not forget the brainless “EZ” comment. It might be minor for some people but this should be implemented ages ago.

I’ve gone through periods where I’ve shut off chat all together coss I’m sick of the vile man-children toxic scumba-- … ect, and from what I recall, the game remembered my preference?

I agree. The match chat is almost 100% harmful without any usefulness. It is used mostly for stupid “gg”, “ez” and “please report X” messages.
The game doesn’t require communication between the two teams and since players are matched against random players chances are good that no one knows anyone from the enemy team for the purpose of casual social interaction.
The match chat should probably be on or off for all players. If someone uses the match chat then some of the team chat might be related and this can be confusing for someone who can see only the team chat.

I’m not offended by everything but why do we have a useless communication channel that is used only by trolls and other kinds of abusers? Removing it would help even the trolls because they’d be reported and banned less often.
Cause i said i was offended ? i am just not interesting in nonsense you kids spew out. If i want to chat with people i most likely go outside or have a chat with friends on discord.
