Repeated update failure

Every 2-3 updates the game has, I get the following:

Whoops! Looks like something broke. Give it another shot.

Each time, I try all the steps. Scan and repair, turning security off, wifi as good as it can be. Then, when uninstalling, it simply won’t start installing due to the same error message. Often this self-resolves but has taken up to a couple of weeks at times.

Naturally, this is infuriating being left unable to do anything, especially during events. If there is any fix to this, I would greatly appreciate it

So, there’s a few steps to try to resolve this for you, please do make sure to do them in order!

Firstly, please fully close the Blizzard App, and any Blizzard games, and then uninstall the App as per this guide:

Next, please delete all the Blizzard App files, some of which may be left over after uninstallation, by following this guide:

Finally, please download and install the App again via this link:

Once you’ve done that, please try running it again and sign in! You may find it does a number of updates, but that should hopefully fix things. :smiley:

Thank you for replying :slight_smile: Followed the steps and reinstalled it. Sadly no luck - same error message :sleepy:
