Reversal - How is this correct when I have been matched with a leaver

How is a match considered ‘Reversal’ if I am matched with a leaver mid way through the game?

Are Blizzard developers this junior/inept?

'you were favoured and lost"
So basically when the match was made, your teams average SR was slightly higher than your opposition.

These adjustments are set at the point of matching.

If someone then leaves, that’s just bad luck, but no different to someone messing up an ult, C9ing or just hard throwing.

I wouldn’t consider that reversal tbh. I’ve had the same issues on WoW arena. So many leavers in solo shuffle.

Indeed, Blizzard need to get there act together

Difference in average SR makes literally no difference because of how dynamic and unpredictable people are in most elo’s. The only progression modifier there should be is rank protection (that includes losing the banked progression if you lose the next game, it’s fair). Everything else is just annoyances. Winning streaks and losing streaks shouldn’t be a thing. You are being rewarded or penalized for luck.

(This post isn’t argumentative, I know you were just stating a fact lol)
