Ah, these threads never get old. No matter how many times people bring facts to the table, a new “Moira lock on aim assist beam insane dmg op nerf plz” posts will rise forever and ever. It’s kind of the point of Overwatch that there’s heroes for players with different skill levels.
Talking from a personal experience, Moira is one of the best ones to start with if you haven’t played shooters before. I wouldn’t even be playing if it was purely an aim game. It’s also odd I’ve never had problems with enemy Moiras, while I’m playing some hero that’s more aim reliant. If I’m Ana or Zen for example and get killed by a Moira, I accept the fact I screwed up by letting her to get too close and possibly also missed my shots.
Also, I believe I have a solution for you. Learn to play Tracer. Needs aim, does nice dmg and has a high skill curve. Then go and wipe floors by using enemy Moiras. You’re welcome.

at no point did I say I ever wanted to play her, I have a slight bit of personal honour when it comes to playing boring heroes. so it has to be a problem for me, I know plenty of people in lower ranks who struggle against her, for the integrity of the game she needs to be changed, and you simply say no to change cause you like the fact shes easy to play, no sort of evidence for her not needing a change, lol. and by any chance are you one of those people who judge a heroes compatibility with the game in quick play? cause if you are then I think its best we stop this debate. ive played moira for almost no time and found her easy, with a high reward low risk factor, and with little interest in the game I was playing, all gold medals. that seems like a great recipe for a balanced hero. some person on the third season of comp can pick her up and play at the same level as the heroes they’ve spent far more time trying to better themselves at, really balanced, are you also one of the minority who believed brig was balanced when she first came out?
