Rework moira to use brain cells

68% kill participation, potg every damn game.
How can you make such a stupid hero?

  1. low cd
  2. best cheat escape ability
  3. high dmg rng orb
  4. no need for ammo or to reload her primary she can keep dmg 24h/24h 7d/7d
  5. her primary has a long range
  6. her primary has a aim assist, not raw aim.
  7. her ult charge way too fast and she uses way too often
  8. her ult beam is flashing too much to my eyes
  9. her ult gives her more movement speed (why?)
  10. her ult can dmg & heal (why 2 things?)
  11. her ult last too long
  12. her ult is long range
How many brain cells is required to play moira or how much you need to grind to master her ?
It takes months and months to be good with windowmaker and other heros and moira does even better for free.
Easy, no skill heros shouldnt get that much value and do better that ones that require a lot of training and effort!

I agree as well, the only things I can see them doing is making her primary fire something like syms beam is now. I also think they should remove her self heal from primary fire. all they need to do is remove the auto aim to make it more high skill ceiling.

How many braincells are required to play Moira?
Dude, i guess the answer is: more then you have.

Moira is absolutely fine, please get better at the game instead of whining that you died to a support.

Moira does not possess any form of auto aim. Install the game before suggesting balance changes.

You never had a good moira in your team.
A good Moira is better than you will ever be.
A good Moira is not hidding like a coward widowmaker and will still be more efficient than you will ever be.
A good Moira is more skilled in every way than you’ll ever be.
An excellent Moira will be able to adapt to any situation without being a weight to her team and being the lift the team needs to crush the opponent.

The no brain hero if there is such thing (I think there is no brain players) is Widowcoward one shot hidding where only 3 other characters can go with more difficulties.

So if you can’t kill a Moira, it means that you are very bad at what you’re doing. And I play a lot with Moira and all supports. But you know why I prefer Moira ? To teach a lesson to people that think they are superior than me with their one shot one kill heroes. Moira does so little damages it’s so funny to see big guns dps be killed by their own weaknesses, placements and lack of ability.

congratulations, you just proved you have never played that character

Or OP, you might lack the brain cells yourself on how to counter this hero.

What, oh her kit is low skill. Bohoo :violin:

This game relies on strategy, so better work on finding a strategy that counters her instead of complaining about skill.

Fun fact, but Moira’s secondary fire (because I think that’s what you meant and not her piss) has the same properties as any other beam weapon, it just happens to be animated to lock on to the middle of the target being damaged regardless of where she actually is aiming. There are a couple videos on YouTube which tested whether she actually has aim assist, but in fact Zarya’s old beam was more forgiving at 0 energy than Moira’s secondary fire due to its pre-nerf girth.

Moira is fine,
if you think Moira requires no braincells than abuse it to climb the ranks.
But I guess you can’t because she requires skills.

Life must be hard in bronze, where Moira is the top healer.
Also, like others said, her primary is a beam weapon like any other, only slightly wider and a charged zarya.

Moira does more up to a certain rank (skill level) yes.

The thing is that while Moira is easy to use she’s also very limited. She has low potential.
She can’t Sleep Dart a Nano Blade.
She can’t keep Reaper away from her team with Boops.
She can’t deny enemies from healing.
She can’t kill 4/6 enemies with 4 shots in 4 seconds from across the map with a Sniper Rifle.
She can’t dispel and disable practically everything the enemies could possibly throw at you.

etc.
She heals a lot
at close range. That’s it really.

Moira is a low-risk decent reward kind of hero. A safe choice. A consistent choice.

Now I think it’s worth mentioning that I despise these kinds of heroes and I feel where you’re coming from.
But if you just hang in there and keep working hard with a more demanding hero you’ll reap the rewards eventually.
Then you can kiss those Moiras goodbye.

Come on now it’s very easy to get this confused due to the animation. That’s why a lot of people do it.
The hitbox is absolutely massive!

Ironically, Moira is considered as a ‘‘throw pick’’ and a weak support character at GM and above. Why?

Because DPS at this level can consistently win a duel against her.

Because Ana is stupidly overpowered and will always overshadow every other support till she gets the proper nerf she deserves.

Because her weaknesses become glaringly more obvious at GM and her strengths become less powerful.

The best players in the game have no issue with her. The only people who have a problem with her (strength-wise) are those who are average, or below average in skill.

You are the problem, not Moira.

That joke nevet gets old! XD

hmm so your saying she has the same aim requirements as a McCree widow and ana, makes sense, u sure your not playing a knockoff of overwatch my friend?

No, McCree and Widowmaker use pinpoint hitscan weapons that fire in discrete units. Moira uses a hitscan beam with a narrow radius, like all beam weapons it fires continuously in damage “ticks”. Ana uses a high speed projectile weapon that switches to a pinpoint hitscan when she scopes in.

I know what I’m talking about. Ana actually has an easier time healing allies because their hitboxes are enlarged, which makes her the only one out of the four with any kind of aim assist (and only on allies). Moira’s beam is quite narrow, there are many videos showing the amount of leeway you get. Saying she has no or low aim requirements is delusional. If you die to her it’s because you suck.

To be fair, I think her primary*** is literally the largest one in the game. Unless you count Reinhardt swinging his hammer maybe.
Mercy’s pistol shots are also massive
I’m too lazy to log on and do research.

Moira’s beam is like a big, constant invisible hitbox infront of you and if any enemy is caught within it they’ll take damage (limited to 1 target. The target closest to the crosshair will be prioritized).
I wouldn’t put it in the same category as hitscan.

EDIT: ***Primary meaning the damage beam. Which isn’t bound to mouse 1 but
 you know. Details.

ahhh makes sense looking at your profile why you’re so set that she’s a balanced skillful hero. there is no part of Moira’s kit that has a high skill ceiling, her skill floor is absurdly low. and at not point did I say I personally say I have a problem playing against her, in fact im happy, because majority of the moiras just rush into the backline and feed. she needs to be changed, her whole character design is poor. if you can think of anything that has a high skill ceiling feel free to say. but the only support I think thats easier to play is brig and thats a low bar.

there is no part of Moira’s kit that has a high skill ceiling

Then how come you suck with her?

at not point did I say I personally say I have a problem playing against her

Sure but you wouldn’t be complaining otherwise.

she needs to be changed, her whole character design is poor

Nope!

the only support I think thats easier to play is brig

Weird how you deliberately choose to play heroes you think are hard
almost like there aren’t any easy heroes, and you’re just masking your inability to play a hero by calling it “EZ”. But you’re probably right, your handful of minutes on the hero is all you need to know that NO AIM NO SKILL EASY HERO PLEASE NERF BLIZZARD.
