Roles within OW2

Hello Everyone.

Is this a viable solution to the 5v5 format coming to OW2? In my humble opinion, I believe this is one approach to formulate the current 6v6 format that made OW stand out. Again, this is simply food for thought.

  1. Main Tank (Frontline)
  2. Secondary Tank (Pseudo Tanks right behind front-line)
  3. DPS (Main source of DMG)
  4. Support (Flex Player [2nd DPS/2nd Healer])
  5. Healer (Yes)

Problem is, they’ve decided 2 tanks is too oppressive for the game.

You’ll have to think of the tank role as more of a space creating brawler than a straight up tank.

Ahh, I see. I’m still new to the game and community but I’m already going to miss the 6v6.

A lot of people will, but it could be a good thing for a new player like yourself.

Everyone is going to have to relearn a few things, change how they play, so there won’t quite be the knowledge gap anymore. Especially if you’re a tank player.
