I much prefer the “Season 9 begins in: …” timer on the launcher to having to math out time zones for a time based loosely on an expected downtime. This may be something we’ve had forever and I just missed it. Either way, kudos there.
Vaguely related, once you complete all the tiers you no longer have the “8 days left” or whatever on the Battlepass screen, and I’d like to see that even when there are no more ranks to obtain. Not that it’s usually an issue for me anyway.

Not sure how long it’s been there.
You’ve always been able to see how many days are left if you go to challenges and to the season challenges there, even if you’ve finished your entire battlepass.
And once you pinpoint the time when the update happens, it’ll always be that same time of day for all future patches and changes. Been that way from the beginning.

Helpful info, thanks!
I just wanted to make sure to leave some positive feedback just in case the devs were trying something new. It may have always been there and I’m super unobservant.
It’s likely that the season change timer has been there, but i’ve always kept an eye on the day counter on the challenge page.
Also good to avoid playing official modes at the update hour on tuesdays as there can be surprise patch updates.
Those can make the servers hiccup more than usual and those still count towards leaver penalties in most cases.
