So, an idea struck my head. Wouldn’t it be cool to be able to sell your golden weapons what you have already bought and get back the competitive points, so you can buy another one in the place of that golden weapon? Like, people make mistakes, like me. One time I had enough competitive points for a golden weapon. I couldn’t decide what hero I should give the golden weapon to. I had 2 choices: tracer or Hanzo. I picked tracer because I was strangely good with her that day. But now I regret that decision. I wish I could get back my competitive points and buy the golden weapon for Hanzo or Ashe.
So, should Blizzard consider the idea of selling your golden weapon in return for competitive points? I honestly don’t know. It is a cool concept and all, but then it will kinda ruin the golden weapon feature, for example, oh, I think this day I want a golden McCree weapon. And after a couple of hours I will be like: Maybe not. And then change to whatever hero I want.
Maybe there should be a penalty for selling a golden weapon, for example, if you sell your golden weapon, you will get 2700 or more, but not the full 3000 competitive points. So, should we have this in the game? What do you think?

No, because the already small point of golden guns would basically become void. They might as well remove competitive points and make them it so that you can buy them with gold.
I think a one time refund would be cool. I’m sure everyone has that one golden weapon they don’t want anymore.
Maybe their favorite character gets a rework and they don’t like them as much. Or, you main a different hero than you did in season 3.
Personally, I have only one that I’d want to refund.

Nope i have my gold weapon for tracer and 5k comp points, bc I have no idea on who to spend them.
You don’t buy a house/car in 2014 and sell it for the full price in 2019.
What might be a solution I could agree with would be sell the gold weapon for a max of 1k points. Never all 3k!
The car analogy I get but often with a house you sell it for much more especially with inflation.

I mean gold guns mean nothing and look pretty rubbish most of the time.
Maybe some additional skins available just for weapons ? I mean I love some of the weapon changes on skins but not the skins themselves.
I’d love to use skin A for the hero and skin B for the weapons.
Would make sense, I choose the skins based on the weapons since that’s what I see.
