I play every projectile dps at 1800dpi and 4 sens, except hanzo. I play him at 2.2 sens. Should I play hanzo at 4 aswell so its less jarring or is that too high?
I would rather play all of them on 2.2
most common sens is 800 dpi 4-6 ingame and its some kind of balance between tracking and flicks
You want a high DPI as possible with low sensitivity to avoid pixel skipping.
This is not true dont listen to this there is pixel skipping above 4 sensitivity but its minimal but if you are playing on 3600+ dpi to get to this 4 sensitivity then you are getting other problems like your mouse picking up every twitch you do etc most players play above 4 sensitivity because pixel skipping is just not that big of an issue unless you are sitting back at 60 metres and trying to flick shot people with widowmaker which does not happen ^
best way to find your sensitivity is so you can do a full 360 while putting your entire mouse across your mousepad from one side to the other.
For your dpi choose which one you like most for browsing your main windows page between 400-1600 dont go over 1600 or under 400 and then adjust your sens that way.
Pixel skipping is barely noticable unless you play at freakishly high sens. Pick the DPI that feels the best. I like 400dpi myself, because it feels I have more control over it when it comes to straight flicks. Anyhow, I suggest you use PSA method and use it to find your most “natural” sens. ps: you mustn’t be warmed up in order to do so.
