Been playing Overwatch for years now and not only I’m forced over to OV2 but now I have to face endless queue times as well with all these free to play starters?
Even more, queue started a 3000 players ahead of you and 5 min later it’s 9000!
Edit: Hell, now I’m even disconnected as well.

The servers were bound to have long queue times since they only just went live. Like back when the seasonal events were new. I’d wait a few hours or until tomorrow
Yea, now it’s also 30 000 here also. It’s getting more every min…

Pretty sure there is still a few minutes until the servers are actually fully up.
Yeah even if you get in you will crash after 1.5 games and you will be missing 70% of ur cosmetics

I cant even connect to a game server, its just doesnt find one at all. Its Blizz they always fail on launch events sadly so… i shouldnt be surprised really!
The login queue appears to be non-existent for me, I went past that instantly. However I am stuck on an endless “Game server connection failed, retrying…”.
That’s what always used to happen with new heroes and patches. Means loads of people are trying to play. It is a very good sign, short term.
Exactly. You would think after all these years and games they launched, they learned sth. to make the experience better. Nope. Its still “Never play on patchday”.
What so frickin hard to spend a few dollars more on expanded capacities on launch? Wouldnt it be worth the good news/PR? I mean Blizz didnt really shine in the last years…

Edit: If you release a game at 21:00 (instead of hours earlier during the day), I wont waste my precious and spare freetime waiting for some fixes for just an updated game. Maybe Ill try it in a few weeks, if I remember to play it, while being busy playing games that actually work.
They shouldn’t have launched at 9PM in EU. Everyone’s home and trying to play at the same time. They should’ve launched at 5AM in the morning. Would’ve smoothened it out a bit more i’d say. Especially as they disconnected OW1 simultanously. But i’d give it a day. Maybe it’s better then!

The queue seems to be down from 40 000 to 2 000 for me now. An improvement but the best one would be if i would be playing right now. Hehe.
Me too, had for a short time a queue of 30k and went straight back to Game Server connection failed…
