Same here. I have just lost a comp game cos of this as well.

Yup. Joined 4 comp matches and 50% of people left the game, before I was finally DCd myself with “unexpected server error occured”.

Yup server issues. Got bounced around between several QP games before I was logged out.

If I lose 50sr because of this while my duo, didn’t disconnect because of “Unexpected Server Error”. I don’t know if I want to play more Overwatch then. I will lose all progress that I have earn today if I lose 50sr from this. It’s so unfair.

Why do you announce it on Twitter? I dont use Twitter ever I use your game… I didnt know buying overwatch meant signing up for Twitter to get general information about the game… and the link you sent I only see spanish content… and I have no idea where to find english… what is this? Why do I need to do a crapload of work to see your announcement on server status?

As soon as we know there’s a general issue, we also put a note on the Blizzard Battle.net app, which is there right now. You can also check the Overwatch support page here, which populates automatically with the latest tweets and news for the game.

Twitter is just usually the fastest way to check, plus you don’t really need to sign up or get an account; you can check our profile and latest tweets even if you’re not logged in or don’t have an account.

I hope you guys will decided to give back 50 SR to players that got disckonnected because of this … Luckily i wasn’t one who got kicked from ranked but 2 games got disbanded in the begining because of 2 leavers in both teams … This is really frustrating because people are really tryharding for SR!
