Overwatch is gaining more and more damage-oriented heroes, and so the Support players are having more and more problems keeping their teams alive. If Zenyatta’s healing orb was buffed in some way, that would at least help slow down the power creep the game’s starting to suffer from.
I wonder if it could be changed to increase movement speed of whoever has it by 10% or it could do more healing per sec to help make up for the healing that Mercy’s lost. Hell, maybe it could give slightly more ult charge so Zen can get Transcendence that little bit faster. Just a small buff that makes Zenyatta into a slightly better healer than before.

Zenyatta’s power is mainly his Discord, and Trans, being probably the best ultimate in the game. He also has great damage output. Giving him any sort of speed boosting capability would make Lúcio obsolete. Lúcio is already sturggling because Zenyatta pushes him out from any team composition, except one that relies on speed boost.
As far as the rest of his kit goes, he’s probably in a pretty good place. At least in my opinion. Don’t think he needs anything.
No matter how much dps heroes this game has, you’ll never face more than 6.
Zen’s can hit shots to fill trans faster.
I agree that zen is pretty good right now.
No changes needed imho, but I’m not a zen main. I would probably play him as a support if he wouldn’t be the exact opposite to tracer in terms of mobility.

Were you the person in charge of making Reaper functionally immortal? Zenyatta is not a healer, this is like suggesting that Soldier get more healing. Zen is a support.
There are no non-healing supports, ergo all supports are healers.
Zenyatta is an off-healer like Lucio and Brig, as well as being a DPS/Support hybrid.
I’m pretty sure you got your names mixed up somewhere there.
If anything, id say give him a second harmony orb,
then “Casting orb of harmony on a third target, will replace the first orb cast” etc

So he can heal two people at once? Sounds good.
Maybe using the second heal orb could get cancelled by him putting a discord orb on someone. As in, he can choose between discording an enemy or healing a second ally. That way he remains the same inside fights (because he still needs to toss discord orbs on targets), but outside of fights he can top up his team’s health twice as fast.

A cool idea would be if the Discord target takes damage, 15% of that damage is dealt as healing to the Harmony target… Just an idea.
Edit: Maybe limit it to damage from Zen or maybe who ever has the Harmony orb to make it more balanced?

What if whenever Harmony or Discord is out Zen has less maximum ammo? Now that’d be fun.
Oh, I like that idea. That way calling out who has the discord orb on them becomes even more useful for whoever has the harmony orb on them.
Put it on Winston and discord the enemy’s main tank and suddenly the scientist is harder to take down because his gun shoots through shields. (Granted it only heals an extra 9 health per second because his gun is a tickle cannon but that’s 9 healing per second the enemy team otherwise wouldn’t need to break through.)
No. That would be the polar opposite of fun.
That would force Zenyatta players to forsake putting a discord/harmony orb on someone just so they can reload. One of their team could get killed in that small amount of time it takes to reload.
If Zen is a healer then so are Sombra and Soldier, they both have a comparable healing output.
lets nerf his ult so its balanced 1st.
How about he gets not changed in any way since he is fine?

You know what, that might be a good idea.
They are both DPS. Sombra cannot heal herself or her team, she has to hack a healthpack.
Soldier and Zen can perform healing on demand, but Soldiers is time gated with a cooldown. No actual healer has this (Ana’s nad is on cooldown but she can heal regardless.
So no, neither of them are healers. Soldiers job is to DPS, healing is not his main job. Zens job is to heal and dps.
