Sigma Hero Speculation

I think the answer lies in the symbol for Sigma Σ. In topology this is also known as Suspension, i.e stretching objects (like maybe Jeff). An astrophysics that can bend space and time, like Doctor Strange, could be one possibility.

But what about the music theme they are hinting about? In music a Suspension is when a note from a chord is held over in the following chord, just like the piano playing in the background of the video.

Also a synonym to suspension (music) is syncope, unexpected rhythms or a disturbance of the regular flow of rhythm(lucio). Syncope is also known as fainting, but to just make other heroes faint would be too similar to Anas sleepdart. Instead there is something known as Suspension trauma, which occurs when the human body is held in the air without any movement for a period of time, which leads to syncope.

One of Sigmas abilities could be to make another hero faint and float above ground. Ex make Bastion float above Orisas shield. Maybe with some help of music.

To make Sigma a sound based hero would be in line with all the music/lucio hints.
But maybe and mix with a astrophysics with some time bending abilities?

You have thought about this way to hard xD. I respect you for that knowledge but your far more clever than the devs. I’m sure the name sigma has a much simpler meaning, but interesting thoughts (and i definitely learnt something about astrophysics and music :joy:)
