People throw it around all the time. I got called a smurf because I played Ball quite well in a game and they didn’t deal with me. This account is silver border what ever level.
Then 2 games later someone will call you hard stuck and rubbish and so on lol.
I just don’t see the point in getting uptight over better players. Some matches are harder than others. You can’t win every game. So if you get rolled, try learn something from it and go again.

Smurfing is toxic, activision dont care as long as it brings them more money. Dont forget this is not blizzard animore.
The buying of accounts doesn’t really bring them much money at all. At the moment they make most of their money from licencing and merchandise, which a chunk from loot boxes.
That is why they are pinning hopes on OW2 and probably taking PvP free to play as it will open up new revenue streams.

If that really is your mindset you’ll have no problem getting into GM as long as you just persevere.
I will get to where I deserve to be. Right now this where I am. If I want more it is on me to grind and get better.
At the moment, just playing because it is fun. Don’t have the time to commit to too much of the grind right now. So many other games to play too.
