2 games tonight. 2 deranked players “just playing with friends” and thus ruining the game for everyone else. I am glad they are having fun, that is what games are supposed to be. Shame the rest of us can’t at your expense.
I just report any accounts I see lower than 3 star bronze, because I know they are smurfs…
there are no “new players” to this game anymore, and its really funny how you “know” who the smurfs going to be, always a DPS slot, always less than 3 star bronze boarder, and always picks genji, tracer, widow, or hanzo…
You do not play against smurfs, you play against people.
Who cares what rank or level they have.
I think its ok, cuz i am by myself just a diamond player and i do not think im good at all, and sorry but if gold players cant handle me at all they just do not deserve to rankup. Like i just see so much of a Deficit in their aim, gamesense, ability usage, just everthin. I know that If they would just practice just a little bit, they could easy climb to diamond+ too. Thats why im not really feeling bad to smurf in an a elo full of level 999999 people hardstuck in their rank. I WOULD feel bad if i would smurf in bronze , since a lot of players there are new and i dont want to ruin their game.
And @AllMight, keep on doing that. Smurfing isnt bannable, only boosting is.
because the whole reason we have ranks is to create balanced and fun matches, smurfs circumvent this and ruin the experience for everyone else

nothing wrong about new accounts playing on their respective skill level. You just can’t cope with your ass being kicked by a lowlevel bronzeborder, thats all. Working at your ego and selfesteem might help.
so, you are responsible for the report system to be degraded in its effectiveness, the more nonsense you report, the more false reports you flood it with the weaker it gets. Blizzard doesn’t want their entire playerbase to be removed from the game by entitled control freaks like you.
And this there is admitting to false reporting which is bannable.

AND - to add to AllMight’s point - what joy do pro players get beating children? (that’s basically how this works) - I’m a great tank but still working on being a better healer. I’ll eternally be a bronze healer - during my last game, my entire team were playing their best (as bronze-level players), and we were playing against other “Bronze” players, clearly playing better than Gold - no cheats as far as I can tell, but extremely well organised and playing at the top of their games.
If you’re a sociopathic piece of trash who needs to crush those wanting to learn to be better players and have the joy of ranking up as their skill increase, then have a long look in the mirror, because it’s no different than kicking some puppies and children for no reason other than you having a fragile and broken ego, and needing to feel better about your own, small existance.
And SHAME ON YOU BLIZZARD for allowing this to happen, and for reports to mean absolutely nothing… I’m ready to toss this game in the recycle bin along with all the dummies who ruin it for others.

the difference between a smurf and an alt is “Alts are used to train on different heros so as to have a different SR than your main heros and thus not skewing the system”

the smurfs im talking about are same level as this account, but they will start as soldier, or doomfist or sombre, then when they’re getting their arse kicked, they switch to genji, or widow or tracer “their main heros” then proceed to kerbstomp like GM players…
its blatantly obvious to anyone who has a brain and isn’t a smurf themselves, and they deserve to be banned for cheating the system in order to get easier matches… and its also gameplay sabotage for everyone else in that match who isn’t a smurf, the smurfs team mates get an easy victory and learn nothing, and the enemy get kerp stomped and learn nothing but how to respawn…

There is wrong thing you’re doing. Hello, I’m a bronze 1 star tracer (22h) / mccree (40h) main and I’m not a smurf. I bought this game about a month ago or so and when I was about 80 lvl I started to train my aim for an hour on a daily basis with aim trainers, watching a lot of vods and guides, basically, learning, also was asking reddit for my mistakes sending vods and learned a lot, so I do sometimes play better than silver borders who just chill instead of playing seriously
P.S. Was called a smurf today for some reason, I matched in plat after placement in my first ever DPS comp season (played just quick play as was afraid of comp) and I was the lowest there, everyone else were silver borders so I do get that might be a little bit suspicious
