Smurfs have been already discussed as well as reports for chat abuse.
To summarize everything: Not all smurfs are a problem; Only downrankers are. No algorithm can detect a downranker with precision.
Reports for chat abuse are subjective. What you see as not offensive might be offensive for another one. The CoC is written vaguely to make it easier for GM’s to explain why, in their opinion, the reports are justified. Just act like in real life and stay polite when talking to strangers on the internet. If you want to be more rude or even offensive because it’s fun to be a d1ck…
People make 6man deranking groups in LFG. Derankers often lose +80% of their games for like 10 hours which would be so unlikely for a normal player it verges on the impossible. Derankers cycle between top 15 percentile and bottom 15 percentile (something no normal player will ever do. It’s actually impossible to be like mid diamond player and drop to silver without throwing your games).
Basically it would be pretty easy to ban people for it. But it wouldn’t be effortless. So it’s unlikely to happen.
I’d also argue a player who ‘legitimately’ stays plat or diamond when they’re high masters or something because they decide in a lot of games to not really try/pick stuff they don’t play and then in other games they hard carry on their mains is also a bad. It’s not as bad but it’s still more noise in the system
