I dont want to listen to it, So you switch it to a sound effect?? Are you literally trying to annoy everyone as much as you can??

It might be that to make things easier for themselves, the devs have made event menu music a sound effect.
That way they can just mute the music to have event music on without faffing about.
Not the udual choise, but a relatively okay shortcut.
And you can always just quickly click yourself onwards from the mainmenu so you don’t need to listen to any of it.
(Personally i don’t pay any mind to it and barely notice it after a first few days of an event)
that is some classical sympho music with piano
dunno how people get annoyed by it, i even go to Opera or Concerts for such experience if I have an opportunity

They 100% need an option to mute the menu noise/music/sound effects.
It it’s definitely some solid music. But I just can’t be bothered to listen to it, especially if I already have my own music on.
