As i said, too much time and entitlement.
I wouldn’t know myself since i only report racists, abelists, people who start cussing someone up without cause and other such trash for abusive chat. Name calling goes on a situational basis.
This is correct.
It’s really not hard to understand that the system can be abused.
Try it. See if it works.
Rather than throwing a random theory, prove it. Because even base understanding of how the automated system suggest it is a logical implausibility.
In a hypothetical fantasy world, I can see where this theory might actually work. But luckily we live in the real world. The volumes needed to get suspended mean you have to annoy A LOT of people in A LOT of games to even get a warning.
And now with their AI learning what isn’t acceptable. If you report someone what they say in voice or text is cross referenced and the report binned off if it doesn’t match what the system has learnt to be abusive. And this system learns with every report.
I understand why anyone who’s been suspended, silenced or warned will want to pin it on one moment, their need to blame someone is strong. But it is a fallacy.
And how would I do that exactly… Record myself falsely reporting someone, then record myself the following morning to see if I get the “Thanks for reporting” message…?
Not the brightest spark I’ll give you that.
Yes. Exactly that. Mass report someone and see where it goes.
You want to make a claim, then back it up. Otherwise you are just making baseless irrelevant statements that have no logical reasoning.
Insulting people isn’t proving your case.
Like how you never back up your claims?
It’s basic logic… like, common sense. I’m not insulting, but try to think a little before making assumptions.
Base logic… You’ve applied none of that to your theory. As what you’ve claimed is completely implausible, and just a base understanding of the volumes of the the things needed would tell you that.
I know you want to blame someone or something for the Versorius account being shut down. But sadly that because of a long time of toxic in game behaviour, not one single event.
I reported a guy that said “I’m afk base”, picked a Mei and kept locking teammates with the ice wall. Me, a friend and probably some other players reported him. He didn’t get banned.
So I think for you to get banned because of chat, you must say a lot of s**t or something really specific.
For what it is worth, I recently reported a guy that started cursing in chat. I got confirmation from Blizzard the day after that action was taken.
Yeah I get those a lot from reporting people for swearing.
I’m not sure reporting people for using words in the dictionary is a good thing… I hope there is more context to it.
"When participating in communication of any kind (chat, voice communication, group finder), you are responsible for how you express yourself. You may not use language that could be offensive or vulgar to others.
Hate speech and discriminatory language is inappropriate, as is any obscene or disruptive language. Threatening or harassing another player is always unacceptable, regardless of language used. Violating any of these expectations will result in account restrictions. More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions."
Are you high? Of course it’s offensive, as you said, it’s the context. I’m not going to report someone for swearing at the game and not actual players. But yes, I am definitely going to report people for saying "You’re sht which has been said many times to other players, including myself.
Even so, swearing is still forbidden on the game.
Why are you offensively accusing me of drug use?
See, you didn’t swear, but what you said could be and is offensive to many.
Swearing is fine in the right context.
There is a couple of great ways to stop being saying things like that to you though. Amazing tips from a top 10 player. If you’d like to know them let me know.
If you are only playing qp there is no need to keep text chat on seriously .be it for match or team chat .
