Care to explain? Because I don’t see a “Elsa Mode Mei” Anywhere for 7.00$.
How is it pay to win?

Can you explain that in detail in your own words?

I can’t find any source on anything being purchased that would provide a ‘win’ over other people. The definition of P2W.

What p2w advantage have you got uptil now op ? Did the skins magically give you more damage ,healing ,boost ?

Do i need to give you views for a badly made video ?

You only pay for cosmetics though, and cosmetics don’t make you win lol.

I actually gave an explanation before here but the system removed it. Seems like Blizzard doesn’t want people to point out its flaws in their current monetization system.

Not OP but and not my video, but I’ll answer your rude question valkeryie, as well as everyone elses.

Anyone who actually spent any time playing this game knows that one of the core meachanics is COUNTER-PICKING.
example: If the enemy has a Widow → one of our DPS goes Genji or our Tank goes Winston to go behind their lines to take her out.
Certain heroes just counter each-other like Rock Paper Scrissors.
That’s why it was so important in Overwatch 1 that everyone had access to every hero the moment they were introduced to the game.
Now with heroes being locked behind a grind the following happens.
Imagine a Rock-Paper-Scrissor fight where you can’t choose Rock for at least 45 games but those that PAY for it can.
And with the new system, that’s not just the new battle pass heroes, new comers to the game, either pay, or they have to spend over 20 hours (that usually all someone has to play in a week) to unlock every hero. As the creator of the above video explained, he was constantly counter-picked by the opponents, but he had nothing to switch to in multiple cases.

By definition if you are forced to endure multiple losses to those that paid for a content in the game, that’s pay 2 win

Or they didn’t want you spreading incorrect misinformation?

Counter picking was an OW1 thing. There no hard counters in OW2. So that is gone as a thing now.

Unlocking the hero doesn’t mean you win more, it just means you have another option. Same as buying weapon blueprints in Warzone.

There is no p2w mechanics in OW2.

Technically, buying Ramattra now is a disadvantage, as he is much weaker than the meta options.

lol, who is spreading misinformation now. I’ve played 60+ hours in OW2. Counter picking is 100% still a thing, I had victories I only got because I switched from the hero the enemy team countered

That isn’t counter picking.

There are hero’s who are better suited against something’s than others. But they are not hard counters.

Remember, a favourable match up isn’t a counter.

You literally describe countering and then dare to say “but that’s not countering”
Is Blizzard paying you to be this delusional?

Remember, a favourable match up isn’t a counter.

Bhwahahahaha yes its f*****ing is

It just isnt. But I won’t argue with you as you clearly don’t grasp the concept.

But sticking to find subject… OW2 is not p2w.

yeees. I’m the one not grasping the concept /s

Indeed. As you think there are hard counters now lol

Are you a Blizzard employee, because I seriously haven’t met anyone in-game that thinks this  everyone I played with, everyone I personally know and plays OW agrees that hero-locking is bs and unfair

I agree locking the hero in the BP is a rubbish thing. It should just be on the challenges personally (makes people learn to play it).

But that’s not p2w. And there still isn’t any hard counters.

And how counter picking is pay to win ? You can unlock the hero for free when you reach lvl 45 in current battle pass paying nothing at all. You wrote wall of text but it again makes zero sense .

I can’t say I like the whole “Counter pick” Takes the fun out of playing with your favorites.

Which is why they made a lot of the changes they did. So there wasn’t any hard counters.

Even in an unfavorable match up now, you can beat them with better mechanics. Instead of being an insta loss because they pressed a button.
