So people are now realizing how broken doomfist actually is?

when he first came out, everyone was enraged by how huge the rocket punch hitbox was, that was the only thing that was nerfed with doomfist pretty much(seismic slam nerf actually), everything he got from then on was a buff so he is pretty much stronger than he was at launch.

his gun used to be pretty much an ability that took a pretty long time to reload but now you can just use it to damage barriers from countless reload speed buffs.

his seismic slam and uppercut make you loose control of your character, if you dont have an ability that can move you or stun him, you are just going to die.

his meteor strike can be either be used as a get out of jail free card or to dive even deeper and generate shields.

and if having 3 abilities that made you lose control of your character and one being an insta kill, lets buff him to generate 35 shields because why not.

it was fun playing doomfist, but now he just feels so unfair to play and play against, kills dont feel earned and getting killed just feels unfair.

with someone like genji/tracer, you actually had to duel the supports like ana which had an equal chance of winning unless you completely outplayed them or got outplayed, then it felt fair, but now with doomfist they cant do anything to you because of your hp so even when ana manages to sleep you, she doesnt have enough damage alone to kill you so you can just kill her after you wake up or run away.

doomfist is pretty much a character with the damage and health of a dps hero and the mobility of a flanker.

the only reason i ever pick genji over him is when the enemy has too much CC or mobility

He got one additional bullet and a slight reload speed increase. Far from countless buffs.

Losing control means you have no control, only his rocket punch does that. Upper Cut and his Slam simply bounce you up. You still have full control over where you are shooting. So if you can aim you have every chance of killing him.

It’s an ultimate, its suppose to be good.

1 ability causes you to be stunned and therefore lose control. Not 3.

Oh, and his hand cannon has also had its falloff nerfed in the most recent patch.

Now I am not saying he doesn’t need looking at, but everything you are saying is just plain inaccurate. If you are going to create a thread at least do your homework first.

Widow can do the same thing from a mile away.

  1. Stuns
  2. His hitbox is massive
  3. Tracer has a quicker TTK, is more mobile, and has the best get of free jail card in the game (rewind), as well as a tiny hitbox.

I would choose to fight Doomfist over Tracer any day of the week.

lmao been over a month but

have you actually seen what uppercut and seismic slam do
if not actually look at them
uppercut used to lock your movement for 3 seconds

so if you are going to reply at least do your homework first

Uppercut makes you fly in the air, doesn’t stop you shooting.

Seismic Slam has a knock around effect, but does not make you completely lose control of your character.

The only ability where you can’t fight back when you get hit by it, is rocket punch.

I don’t feel that Doomfist is op. He can dish out a lot of damage for sure, but I think he is pretty hard to play well. Most of other heroes are much easier to play, both mechanically and in macro play than Doomfist.

He is used by smurfs, this is where this perception that he is so strong comes from.

there is a reason why doomfist always gets a kill from uppercut/seismic slam, ive also played him for 50 hours

widow is the most indefense dps in game. You can counter her with all kind of characters

Like mercy’s rez, 2 seconds resurrecting 1 person, rez is just very risky- 6v6 or 4v6, When DF can get nerf for seismic slam, blizz can speed up rez
