Something positive

Since the forum is so full of negativity, I thought I’d make a thread about positive experiences.

I managed to rise from silver 4 to gold 3 tonight and i sort of wanted to celebrate that a little.

My teams were nice and respectful, the games went down to the wire exciting and we only had one leaver in one of the teams. Even that happened at the last meter so it didn’t make any difference since the team didn’t reach the point in time anyway.

Despite losing some games and feeling like i was being stomped at times we managed to put up enough of a fight to at least make it fun.

There were really impressive plays on both sides. Difficult deadlocks to get through. A brigitte that decimated a backline, a great deadeye shut down by a baptiste, several pain in the donkey genjis and brave teammates that helped keep the supports safe. Good awareness all around.

If any forum lurker recognises my name as having played with me recently.
Thank you for the awesome games, i had a blast today and i hope you all will get great victories in the future. (Even the enemies, you made the game awesome)

Congrats!

Good to see you climbing and, more importantly, enjoying it!

Plat next!

Continue with your momentum my friend. Congrats on the rank promotion. I too have risen up the ranks and this is indeed a good feeling and I made a couple of friends from these games so I couldn’t be happier.

To continue the positive progress theme. I am now a diamond Ball one trick. And given that my jump into Diamond was a 2 division jump… I suspect if I keep going I can push closer to Master pretty quickly.

I hope you don’t have my issue where I’m stuck on diamond 2 after doing 4 sets of victory placements but I’m going to keep trying.

I was Plat 3 for 4 updates in a row, then suddenly jumped to Diamond…

We shall see what happens. But I played 4 games tonight, got 4 wins and only died like 7-8 times in the whole time (6 came in one match because I was playing like a muppet).
