I wasn´t really looking at the forums for a while and i just came back to look what the discussions on the forum are like and i am confused. What happened? Everyone is crying about balancing! All i see is : Doomfist is too strong! Brigitte is too strong and too easy! Hanzo is still overpowered! etc. Did the people really became so soft and sensitive that they cry about every lose against any Hero? I can understand that losing can be frustrating but i dont get why you need to instantly cry about it on a forum.

Hanzo, for the most part is no longer skill based. His multiple arrow attack has turned him mostly into pray and spray and at close range his damage has too high a peak with it
Brigitte is a cc machine with no real counter. She has become too much of a jack of all trades with armour, heal, cc, self sustain, high mobility, decent range and melee that seems very overwhelming to most all players and it’s nigh unanimous among the forum.
Doomfist too feels too strong and mobile imo. What’s more, the masses are largely being ignored by blizzard. They’re really only pumping money and resources into owl and seem less inclined to deal with this

Not to sound insulting but this isn’t a new thing.
Hanzo is just as much of a spray and pray as Soldier was and some what still is for a lot of his users.
Brig is plagued by the fact, that she is very usefull and good, but very mcuh lacks any form of skill to utilize, her whole kit is extremely easy to utilize and can shut down players of 100s hours on other characters with no effort.
Doomfist to me is not op, he needs two things in my opinion. A slight buff in some ways and the removal of his CC effects. Also his Shift needs to properly distance himself depending on the time he held it down. To me a huge issue with doomfist is how he can get in on specific locations with one shot potential and get out so fast and easily. His shift in mid air with no charge time propels him quite far away from danger and he can jump mid animation to change direction or increase distance with it, which is some what stupid in my eyes.
Even so in 6v6 organized play Doomfist just become rather weak, since he is so vulnerable to awareness and cc.

That’s what I meant the n regards to doomfist. He has a lot of one shot potential with unbearably quick escape potential. As someone who doesn’t quite have split second timing anymore in my mid thirties it’s a little overwhelming.
Basically, yes. Any hero strong against the one someone is one-tricking is claimed to be OP by the OTP.
Oh, and there is also a lot of babies crying about heroes requiring no skill, refusing to see that they are the ones lacking the skill their own hero requires.
Maybe if Blizzard stopped ruining the game people would complain less …

No matter what Blizzard does a number of people would think they ruined it. They’re simply changing it, and if you don’t like the direction, play something else. That’s what people usually do if they stop liking something.
I bought the game with real money I can complain whenever and wherever I want.

Sure, but you can’t demand they change anything in any way whatsoever.
I bought World of Warcraft. They changed it in a way I didn’t like, so I stopped playing it. I didn’t keep playing a game I didn’t enjoy just because I could.
That because you pay a subscription to wow …

Uhm what? So not paying a subscription means I have the right to make demands, or what? There is no logic to that whatsoever.
If they are ruining the game is an individuals opinion, this is OW and it will continue to have such heroes that others see as “Ruining the game”
It is 2 years after release and they still make the same “mistakes” with balance and hero updates, I feel they are slowly killing off the FPS element to the game but that will appeal to others, to me they are ruining the game but that just means people like myself will stop playing it in due time where as people who enjoy what they are do will choose to stay and new players will try it out who might have been put off before.

Well you don’t. You can say “If you don’t do A I will stop playing the game”, but you can’t say “You have to do A, it’s my right.”
Doomfist and Brigitte are op af coz they’re too strong and they don’t require special skills (Anyway hanzo isn’t op, he’s countered by half game)

Noobfist lock you in his combo and even if you fire at him he have his shield…
Hanzo become a disgusting spam machine… see a hero? Storm arrow

fist of, i do agree that those three heroes are currently strong in the current meta.
personally, i don’t like the current Hanzo, a sniper who you cant jump on without getting riddled with arrows, and big target without a shield has it rough against him
doomfist is very easy to counter, just pick Sombra or McRee and cc him as soon as you can and kill him, he has no escapes without abilities and same goes for most dps.
as for Brigitte, yhea shes annoying to deal with, and its mainly her stun, Brigitte players can pull the shield up instantaneous and stun you without a warning, the only counterplay for this is to retreat and I consider it a bad gameplay mechanic
(at least blizzard should make it works like most other cc and make it not go through shields)

as for the forums,
to sum it up and how it went,
it all started with the mercy changes, players address the forums on that mercy change isn’t what they wanted, and as blizzard started to nerf her the players realized that the forums have a strength and started to bombard it with complaints about heroes and try to nerf, and so did trolls.
eventually, it got to the point where everyone is complaining about something they don’t like and the forums are a complete mess, those that complain the most gain notoriety and inform blizzard to change those heroes.
(i wouldn’t waste time here btw the people at blizzard that check the forums are either lazy or are blind to see the toxicity while they assume your the toxic one.)
How long have you been away? I’ve been playing OW and been a member of these forums for a year now and it’s always been like this. When people are passionate about a game (and we, as players who actually use the forums are probably the most passionate of them all), then obviously they will complain and voice their opinions on every little change, especially balance changes, more so than cosmetic.
Nothing new.
Doomfist is just strong now, for once. He was weak for an entire year, people moaned that he’s useless, now that he’s actually strong and can get some nice kill combos, etc, people start to moan again.
