I think we need to address the issue where Support gain really low amounts of SR for wins, and lose much higher amounts for a loss.
I am of the belief that this occurs because when a team collectively does better in games, they generally take less damage, so the healers have less healing to do, so below diamond, when they are ranked against players of the same character in the same skill bracket they are performing comparatively worse. Conversely, when the team is performing worse, the healers are generally not able to perform to their best because either the team is dying to burst damage before they can do much healing, or because they are being picked off by the enemy before they can do much to help, and therefore the healers are still considered to be performing below-average.
This results in (in my experience) support players need to maintain around a 60% win rate just to maintain their rank, making climbing ranks that much harder.
Never had this problem with support, dunno wat ur talkin bout
The specific amount of SR you gain or lose is based on a few things; performance and the team SR difference being the most important. From what I can see you also gain more SR for quicker matches.
Supports are not healers, they aren’t supposed to just spam health into their allies. There are other things for them all to be doing, and failing to do those things will result in reduced SR gains/increased SR losses.
Agreed, if u only heal as support and u rank up u just boosted
