As someone who really enjoys playing stadium, and doesn´t always feel like waiting 10+ minutes for a stadium comp game, I`m really dissapointed with the new changes to the unrated queue.
Why can I not queue for a role anymore?? Literally no one asked for this and it´s really frustrating joining a game and being forced to play a role I do not want to.
And then I get penalized for leaving (already 10 Minutes after leaving just 2 times) when I did not even get the chance to CHOOSE what I want to queue for?!
Making an open queue for stadium? Great I guess. But making that the ONLY choice?? NO.
Was the issue the longer waiting times for support players? Because this just ruined the whole game mode for everyone. The teams just constantly consist of 3 supports, one tank and one dps. People always end up having to play a role they don´t even want to play, or you just straight up lose every game because IT´S THREE SUPPORTS and one person throwing because they were forced to play tank.
Personally I had no issue with waiting a few more minutes to play support. It was still fun and enjoyable. But with this change, it´s unplayable. Which is so sad. Players finally had a game mode that gave so many interesting playstyles to a otherwise rather repeating playstyle that may have gotten boring after playing the same heroes for years.
Stadium was already not the most popular mode. I´m guessing when it´s not getting changed back, it´ll just die out.
I really don´t understand that change and I hope it will be reversed soon. I no longer enjoy playing stadium.
